Another Thrilling Thursday For Nash Central

On Thursday, Nash Central’s JV football, varsity and JV volleyball teams, and girls golf teams were in action. Let’s take a look back at what our Bulldogs were able to accomplish.

Nash Central’s girls golf team was exceptionally successful on Thursday. Senior Hannah Sasser finished 3rd while Sarah Joyner finished 6th. The Bulldogs will be back in action again on Tuesday, September 3rd at Birchwood Country Club. Nash Central will compete against Souther Nash, Fike, Hunt, and Rocky Mount.

The volleyball teams were also in play on Thursday. JV volleyball lost in 5 sets while the varsity team lost 2-1 against Southwest Edgecombe. Nash Central volleyball will be back in action against on Tuesday against North Johnson.

The JV football team also gave Smithfield-Selma its boldest effort. However, the Bulldogs came up a bit short losing 18-6. Nash Central will play its next game on September 10th against SouthWest Edgecombe.
