After a season full of ups and downs, the Lady Bulldogs will look to write a new script during the Big East tournament. Nash Central went 2-16 during the regular season while finishing 1-9 in Big East play. The JV squad also finished 1-9 in conference play but were 3-15 in overall play.
With this being said, the Lady Bulldogs have earned 6th seed in the Big East tournament. Nash Central will first play Fike High School on Monday, October 12th. Fike is the 3rd seed in the tournament, and the Deacons finished the regular season with a 9-9 record and a 7-3 mark in the Big East. If the Lady Bulldogs are able to beat the Deacons, Nash Central will survive and go on to play Rocky Mount on Tuesday, October 13th. Rocky Mount is the #2 seed in the tournament, and the Gryphons were 7-3 in Big East this season while going 10-12 in overall play.
All in all, Nash Central may not have had the most successful season in 2015, but the Lady Bulldogs definitely has high hopes as they compete in the Big East tournament.
