With only two swim meets in the books, Nash Central has already had an accomplished season. In yesterday’s meet against Fike High School, Nash Central’s girls teams finished third out of the ten teams in the competition. The boys team also finished in third place.
The Bulldogs also set many record times, and many swimmers just fell short of making the regional cut. However, Jennifer Jackson has already qualified for regionals in the 200 IM 50 free, 100 free, and 100 breaststroke while Langdon Norris has also made the regionals cut in the 200 IM, 500 free and 100 back. In addition, the girls teams has qualified for regionals in the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay, and the 400 free relay. The boys team has also experienced considerable success and have stamped their tickets to regionals for the 200 medley relay.
Nash Central’s next swim meet will be on Friday, December 4th against Southern Nash.
