Nash Central Tennis Impresses

The Nash Central boys’ tennis team was absolutely dominant on Monday afternoon as the Bulldogs defeated the Louisburg Warriors 8-1. Nash Central is now 3-6 this spring after this crushing victory.

The Bulldogs were led by its talented juniors on Monday afternoon with Austin Luper Adam Moore, Jacob Richardson, and Nagee Wilkins leading the way for Nash Central. For one, Jacob Richardson, who won 2-0 (7-6, 6-1), and Nagee Wilkins, who also won 2-0 (6-2, 6-0), both played exceptionally well and they should both be commended for their efforts. Also, juniors Austin Luper and Adam Moore both claimed 2-1 victories, and their play is also worthy of high praise. Freshmen Cameron Johnson (6-2, 6-1) and Isaiah Herandez (6-2, 6-3) were also victorious on Monday, both winning 2-0.

In double play, Nash Central also excelled. The team of Jlendrick Faison and Isreal won 6-4 while the dynamic duo of Nagee Wilkins and Cameron Johnson won 8-3. Additionally, Adam Moore and Austin Luper teamed up to win 8-6.

Nash Central will now ride this momentum and will look to beat Fike at home on Wednesday, April 13th at 3:00 P.M.
