Lady Bulldogs In The Playoffs

While the Nash Central boy’s basketball team fell 69-50 to Southern Lee last night, the Lady Bulldogs will be moving on the second round of the 3A state tournament. The Lady Bulldogs defeated West Brunswick 55-52 in a tough, hard-fought matchup on Tuesday night, and Nash Central will now play Triton High School at home on Thursday, February 25th at 6:00 P.M.

Triton is currently 18-7 this season, and the Hawks are coming off a dominating 73-58 win over South Johnston. On the other hand, the Lady Bulldogs are 21-4 this season, and Nash Central is definitely looking forward to beating Triton on Thursday night as the Lady Bulldogs have hopes winning the state championship this season.
