In 2015, the Nash Central volleyball team will look to go on torrid campaign. After going 3-16, including a 1-9 mark in the highly competitive Big East, last fall, the Bulldogs have high hopes and aspirations for the 2015 campaign.
Nash Central will try to replace four seniors and will have plenty of help in doing so. The Bulldogs will have exceptional veteran experience and leadership with seven expected seniors on the roster. Nash Central will also envision its influx of talented freshman, sophomores, and junior to help facilitate and bolster the team’s overall play.
The Bulldogs don’t need an excessive amount of improvement to make a leap this fall. Three of Nash Central’s 16 losses were 3-2 decisions while seven of the losses were 3-1 decisions.
All in all, Nash Central has definite potential, and if long-time head coach Frank Poyer is able to command the maroon & gray to click on all cylinders, they will be potent threat in the before-mentioned extremely competitive Big East.
