The Bulldogs girl’s tennis team is home to a strong veteran presence. With five seniors on roster, Monday’s match against Northen Nash will be one that Hannah Whitehead, Michalah Matthews, Ashleigh Lamb, Ahmani Applewhite, and Samia Silver will hold close to their hearts for the rest of their lives. Thus far, Nash Central has had an accomplished season, and these five seniors have definitely done their part in helping the Bulldogs reach new heights.
The Bulldogs will not only be honoring its exceptional seniors on Monday. Nash Central will also be kicking off its ****** cancer awareness initiative for the month of October on Thursday. This is a notable cause and is one that can not be taken lightly.
With this all being said, Monday’s match’s has all the makings to become one to remember, so come out and support your Bulldogs.

Thursday afternoon will be exceptionally memorable for six Nash Cental volleyball players.
The Bulldogs will honor its seniors as they play a home game against Northern Nash. Donna Mosely, Kayla Sullivan, Emily Engelking, Ashley Perry, Brittany Cherry, and Careisha Leonard have been a part of Nash Cental’s volleyball program for the last several years, and these six ladies have definitely helped Nash Central achieve great success, and they will be remembered for talent, intensity, and zeal for the sport of volleyball.
Nash Central will also launch its ****** cancer awareness month initiative during Thursday’s game. This certainly a worthy cause, so come out on Thursday afternoon to honor our senior volleyball members and to spark much-needed awareness

Despite the odds, Nash Central was able to show off its spirit on a soggy, wet Monday night.
The Bulldogs, however, were defeated 77-37 by the Bunn Wildcats. In spite of the loss, Nash Central exhibited its offensive capability, and this will definitely prove to be substantial as conference play begins.
With a bye week coming up, the Bulldogs will rest up and prepare to take on Rocky Mount on Friday, October 9th to kick off Big East play. At 1-5, Nash Central still has the potential to have a special season, but they will need to be able to set the tone soon.

While playing extremely close games against Rocky Mount, both the Bulldog JV and varsity teams came up a bit short.
JV lost in two games, 16/25 and 9/25. On the other hand, varsity lost 10/25, 16/25, and 14/25.
Nash Central volleyball will be back in action on Tuesday, September 29th against Fike.

Whether Nash Central’s homecoming game is on a Friday or Monday night, the Maroon Maniacs will be in full force either way.
Due to the high-level of rainfall in the area, tonight’s homecoming game against Bunn will be rescheduled for Monday night at 6:30. Despite this, Nash Central’s spirit will definitely not be impacted by this happening, and it just gives the Bulldogs faithful a few more days to build up momentum.
So, start your week off right and come out to give your support to your Nash Central Bulldogs on Monday, September 28th.

After a week filled with immense excitement and passion, Nash Central will conclude the week with its annual homecoming game on Friday night. With the entire student body behind them, the Bulldogs will take on the 3-2 Bunn Wildcats.
Bunn boasts a high-powered offense, and containing the Wildcats potent offense will be a vital key for a Nash Central victory. Bunn has scored forty or more points on four occassions in 2015 and have 49.4 points a game this season. The lone game in which Bunn was held to under forty points was a 21-13 loss against Southern Nash. The Bulldogs have certainly made a vast defensive improvement from the 2014 season, and have allowed about 32.4 points a game this. With a chip on their shoulders, the Bulldogs will look to exhibit their high-level defensive prowless on Friday night.
Pre-Sale tickets will be sold on Friday for a discounted price of $5, and face painting will also be available in a main lobbey. This will definitely add to the fanfare on Friday night, and the newly coined Maroon Maniacs student section will be energized and vitalized as they cheer their Bulldogs on to victory
All in all, come out to Nash Central on Friday night to experience an unforgettable homecoming game against the Bunn Wildcats. It has all the makings of a legendary game.

On Wednesday, the Nash Central Bulldogs competed well at a Big East meet at Southern Nash High School. Other schools at the event were Fike, Hunt, Rocky Mount, and Northern Nash.
The Bulldogs boys finished 3rd and the girls team finished 5th. This was the best finish for the Bulldogs this season, and Kendall Nelson and Teonna Hill led the way for the Lady Bulldogs. For the boys, Kazelee Johnson and Montre Cash.

The Nash Central volleyball team was in action on Tuesday against Southern Nash.
The JV team was impressive, but lost in two exceptionally close games. 31/33 and 17/25. The varsity team, on the other hand, lost in five games. Despite this, the Bulldogs won the first and fourth games. In the first game, Nash Central won 25/23. In the fourth game, the Bulldogs were dominant winning 25/7. Nash Central would, however, drop the second (13/25), third (16/25), and final (10/15) games.
The Bulldogs will next play Rocky Mount on the road on Thursday, September 24th.
