Nash Central’s Monday Night Football

DSC07624

Despite the odds, Nash Central was able to show off its spirit on a soggy, wet Monday night.

The Bulldogs, however, were defeated 77-37 by the Bunn Wildcats. In spite of the loss, Nash Central exhibited its offensive capability, and this will definitely prove to be substantial as conference play begins.

With a bye week coming up, the Bulldogs will rest up and prepare to take on Rocky Mount on Friday, October 9th to kick off Big East play. At 1-5, Nash Central still has the potential to have a special season, but they will need to be able to set the tone soon.

Bulldogs Ready For Friday Night

image

After a week filled with immense excitement and passion, Nash Central will conclude the week with its annual homecoming game on Friday night. With the entire student body behind them, the Bulldogs will take on the 3-2 Bunn Wildcats.

Bunn boasts a high-powered offense, and containing the Wildcats potent offense will be a vital key for a Nash Central victory. Bunn has scored forty or more points on four occassions in 2015 and have 49.4 points a game this season. The lone game in which Bunn was held to under forty points was a 21-13 loss against Southern Nash. The Bulldogs have certainly made a vast defensive improvement from the 2014 season, and  have allowed about 32.4 points a game this. With a chip on their shoulders, the Bulldogs will look to exhibit their high-level defensive prowless on Friday night.

Pre-Sale tickets will be sold on Friday for a discounted price of $5, and face painting will also be available in a main lobbey. This will definitely add to the fanfare on Friday night, and the newly coined Maroon Maniacs student section will be energized and vitalized as they cheer their Bulldogs on to victory

All in all, come out to Nash Central on Friday night to experience an unforgettable homecoming game against the Bunn Wildcats. It has all the makings of a legendary game.
