2015 Nash Central Bulldogs Football Season Preview

In 2014, the Nash Central Bulldogs football program endured a forgettable season. Despite this, the Bulldogs will look to turn the chapter and enter the fall with a bright and fresh outlook.

Nash Central has plenty to look forward to in 2015, and there is reasonable evidence to conclude that the Bulldogs will encounter considerable success. For one, there has been a shake-up at the helm with former Louisburg head coach Chris Lee will be taking over as the Bulldogs head man. In 2014, Lee commanded the Louisburg Warriors to an 8-5 record.  Louisburg’s 4-1 mark in the 1A Tar Roanoke conference is also highly impressive. In all, Chris Lee’s season was highlighted by a 49-14 smashing of Perquimans High School in the first round of the NCHSAA 1A state playoffs.

Lee’s offensive and defensive efficiency was also put on showcase throughout the 2014 season. In wins, the Louisburg Warriors averaged over 49 points per game. In the defensive aspect, Lee facilitated the Warriors tremendously well. The Warriors allowed only 14 points per game last fall. All in all, the new leadership that Chris Lee will provide for Nash Central will prove to instrumental as the Bulldogs look to bring a winning culture back to the program and area.

The 2015 Bulldogs will shape up to be what looks like a veteran team. Nash Central will have only graduated nine seniors, and, if all goes as planned, the Bulldogs will expect to have over twenty seniors on their roster this fall. A senior and veteran presence is crucial for any football team, and a strong and definite senior presence will certainly aide Nash Central. In addition, the Bulldogs are expecting to have almost a dozen juniors on the team. This medley of youth and veteran talent could very well translate to a run at the Big East conference championship and a deep playoff run for the 3A state championship.

In closing, Nash Central is home to an abundance of talent, and new head coach Chris Lee will look to script a new chapter for the Bulldogs. A new dawn has risen, and this fall will be the start of something new for Nash Central.

In 2015, the Nash Central volleyball team will look to go on torrid campaign. After going 3-16, including a 1-9 mark in the highly competitive Big East, last fall, the Bulldogs have high hopes and aspirations for the 2015 campaign.

Nash Central will try to replace four seniors and will have plenty of help in doing so. The Bulldogs will have exceptional veteran experience and leadership with seven expected seniors on the roster. Nash Central will also envision its influx of talented freshman, sophomores, and junior to help facilitate and bolster the team’s overall play.
